The BT-511 system is designed for the lab that needs only the gas delivery and temperature control components of a test system. When integrated with the equipment (listed below), this system will measure the ionic conductivity of your pure membrane samples in the following conditions:
- Gas: Hydrogen or Nitrogen
- Gas flow rates: 0-1000 sccm
- Temperature: To 120C
- Cell Pressure: 0-40 psig
The following equipment is included with the BT-511:
- One 1000 sccm mass flow controller
- Inlet pressure gauges for hydrogen and nitrogen
- One hydrogen flashback arrestor for safety
- One BekkTech Saturator
- One set 5cm2 fuel cell test hardware
- One BekkTech Conductivity Cell
- One back pressure regulator
- Heated Gas Lines
- BT-201 Temperature Control System for control of five heated components
- LabView VIs for communication with Mass Flow Controller and Temperature Controllers.

The following equipment is necessary to perform conductivity testing.
This equipment is not included with the BT-511. You will need to supply the following:
- Source of compressed gases (hydrogen and nitrogen)
- Potentiostat
- Computer
- Resources to automate or manually correlate your potentiostat data to your test stand data
