BT-201 Temperature Control System

This system is designed for the lab that is already equipped with the Gas Delivery and Humidification portions of the test system. The BekkTech Temperature Control System provides monitoring and control for up to 5 different heated components.

In membrane conductivity and fuel cell testing, the devices monitored and controlled generally include:
- Cell Hardware
- Saturator (s)
- Heated Gas Lines

Includes the ability to interlock with an external safety alarm such as a hydrogen detector for emergency shut-down in an alarm condition

Each temperature controller includes a high-temperature alarm

Includes +/- 15VDC supply which can be used to power mass flow controllers and other devices

Interlocked AC power can be used to power small devices which should shut down on alarm (i.e. solenoid valves or relays to other powered equipment)

Thermocouple junction box with five outlets for Type T thermocouples (Five TCs included)

Includes USB connection to your computer for communication to temperature controllers

LabView VIs for automated control of the temperature controllers and recording the set & measured temperatures to a data file

To perform testing with this system, you will need to provide the following:

Gas delivery components, tubing, gauges, regulators, flow control, etc
Humidification components such as a saturator and gas lines with heaters
Potentiostat for applying voltage and measuring current
Load Box for testing above 1 amp
Compressed gases
Pressurized source of DI water to auto-fill your saturator
Fuel cell test hardware
Conductivity cell for membrane conductivity testing
Computer and LabView 8.2 or higher to run LabView VIs (Optional: Temperature controllers can also be controlled manually.)
